Where to begin? My family and I have been searching for a property to call home on Whidbey Island for some time now. I had connected with a couple of other realtors on Whidbey, however, I soon realized that since we were looking for something very specific, with a limited budget to boot, those agents were not so keen to help in our search and quickly fell away. She went out of her way to find out about potential properties, to research land use regulations for us, and with her legal background, I felt safe knowing that she was watching out for our best interests. We had lots of ups and downs along the way, searching for property from another state during a pandemic is quite an experience. Mirka was very responsive to our calls and emails and texts, keeping us apprised regularly. We had a few almost but not quite properties come and go, then we finally found the one, and once we found it, there were many hurdles to clear, but Mirka saw us through all of it, keeping us focused on the Big Picture.
